COACHING CROSSFIT SINCE 2012

Founded in 2012 under the name All Pro CrossFit and formerly Sessions:6 CrossFit, CrossFit Common Fortitude has evolved from a tiny “hole-in-the-wall” to an established training facility, located right off 6th Avenue at Garrison in Lakewood, Colorado.

OUR TRAINING FACILITY

Located off of 6th Avenue & Garrison in Lakewood, we have an indoor and outdoor training space equipped with high quality and well cared for equipment. Inside you’ll find the cleanest CrossFit facility around, including ample parking, and a shower room.

THE COACHING TEAM

The Good. The Bad. And the Ugly. We’ll let you decide who’s who.

joe[1]

Joe Fuentes

Joe grew up in the martial arts community through junior high, and played both soccer and basketball in high school. As an adult,  after being in the weight room on and off for years, Joe found himself to be “fit” by some standards,  but he felt he had been plateaued in his fitness for a really long time. He then tried CrossFit, and from his first taste he was hooked!

Joe recalls,  “In one of my first WODs, the entire community rallied around a struggling athlete and cheered her on as she pushed through.  That was a really cool moment for everyone there!”

Now in his early 30’s, with a wife, three children, and a demanding, yet vague government job (we think he’s a CIA spy), Joe claims, “I am faster and stronger than I every have been before! I love watching athletes hit new records, seeing skills come together and enjoy the camaraderie of our gym.”

In 2016, she earned her CFL1 and has found great joy in helping others become the most healthy overall person they can. Fitness!

kaytie[1]

Kaytie Berard

As an avid outdoors woman, Kaytie moved to Denver from Louisiana four years ago seeking big mountains and long hikes. Little did she know she’d end up a CrossFit phenom!

Growing up a swimming star through her childhood and high-school years, she has a great kinesthetic awareness of movement and she quickly became good at CrossFit (FYI: we think swimmers are the most well equipped athletes coming to CrossFit). Fitness has become a way of life for this young Denverite, as she is continuing her education in the field and becoming an outstanding coach.
